A woman in tradition...: A woman in traditional Vietnamese `Ao Dai` dress gathers daisies in a garden in Ngoc Ha village. Ao Dai first appeared in the court of Lord Vu Vuong of the Nguyen Dynasty in 1744. The modern version was designed by Cat Tuong in 1930. His creation is based around trousers and a gown buttoned down at the front. /KTS
