Old men in a village...: Old men in a village are inspecting a fighting buffalo before the bullfight. It is one of northern Vietnam's most ancient and mystical festivals and takes place in the lunar calendar, September 9. The ideal fighting buffalo needs to meet certain requirements. Its shoulders must be broad and well muscled, and its toes must be clearly separated to avoid overlap when fighting. /KTS
